What is the Difference Between These MacBook Screens?

MacBook Screen Replacement Options

We offer both Genuine Apple Pulled Assemblies and High-Quality Aftermarket screens to fit any budget. Genuine pulls are complete, original Apple top-halves carefully removed from other MacBooks, while our aftermarket options offer a brand-new display at a fraction of the cost.

Grade A (Excellent Condition - Genuine)
Best for a like-new appearance

A premium, carefully sourced original display assembly showing very minimal to no signs of previous use. 100% fully functional with no broken glass and no screen flickering.

  • Pristine Display: The screen glass and LCD are flawless or near-flawless when turned on.
  • Clean Exterior: The outer aluminum shell is in fantastic condition, with no major dents and only the possibility of a microscopic, barely noticeable scuff.
  • Original Quality: 100% genuine Apple Retina clarity, brightness, and color.
Grade B (Good Condition - Genuine)
Best for everyday users & value

A fully functional, original display assembly that shows standard, everyday cosmetic wear from previous use. 100% fully functional with no broken glass and no screen flickering.

  • Flawless Performance: The internal LCD display works perfectly with bright, accurate colors.
  • Minor Exterior Wear: The outer aluminum lid will have visible signs of use, such as light scratches, minor scuffs, or very small dings around the edges.
  • Screen Condition: The glass may have very light micro-scratches or minor wear to the anti-reflective coating, but nothing that distracts you while working.
Grade C (Acceptable / Budget - Genuine)
Best for maximum savings

A heavily discounted, fully functional original display assembly with obvious cosmetic damage. 100% fully functional with no broken glass and no screen flickering.

  • Maximum Savings: The cheapest way to get a genuine Apple display working on your laptop again.
  • Obvious Exterior Wear: The aluminum lid will have noticeable scratches, larger dents, or worn corners.
  • Screen Condition: The glass may have visible scratches, heavier keyboard marks, or more noticeable anti-reflective coating wear. However, the screen is fully tested and guaranteed to work.
Standard Aftermarket (Brand New)
Best for strict budgets

A brand-new, third-party manufactured display assembly. This does not have the Apple logo on the outside, making it a highly cost-effective alternative to genuine parts.

  • Brand New Glass & Shell: A completely untouched screen, free of any previous scratches or cosmetic wear.
  • Cost-Effective: The most budget-friendly way to replace a completely shattered or dead screen.
  • No Apple Logo: The outer aluminum lid is completely blank, helping keep the manufacturing costs as low as possible.
  • Reliable Performance: Delivers good brightness and color reproduction for everyday tasks.

Why we use Full Assemblies instead of "Panel-Only" repairs:

We only install complete display assemblies (the entire top half of the laptop). We do not perform "panel-only" repairs (peeling the glass away from the aluminum). Full assembly replacements ensure the factory seal around your screen remains intact, preventing dust from getting behind the glass and ensuring the hinges and cables are perfectly aligned exactly as Apple intended.
